I am located in the Scottish Borders in the small parish of Ladykirk, some 8 miles from the border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Originally from the area, I left in 1976 to join the Royal Marines, this was followed on leaving the Marines with 12 yrs as a Police Officer in the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary. On leaving the police, I returned to my roots in 2005.
A late comer to the world of stickmaking, I have achieved a fair amount of success in the showing world. I show my sticks on a regular basis across the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. As a result of this success, I have made and sold many sticks including a number of commissions. All to satisfied customers!
